Engineering NoteTRUCKSTEP™ is engineered to be exceptionally strong. Under extreme dynamic loads, such as jumping on the step, a slight amount of natural steel deflection may be noticed. This is normal for a high-strength steel structure and does not affect safety or durability.
Step-By-Step
Position the Bracket
Locate the frame rail beneath the rocker panel between the front and rear doors. Hold the mounting bracket against the frame to mark your holes.
Bolt the Arm
Using the provided hardware, bolt the L-shaped mounting arm to the frame rail. Torque to spec. No drilling required on most applications.
Mount the Step
Slide the step platform onto the arm and secure with the set bolts. Check that the signature finish faces outward for maximum grip.
Test & Go
Give it your weight. Check for any play. If solid, you're done. Hit the trail.
